  • Kindergarten at Home Depot - Learned about jobs and equipment, ate lunch, and built a tool box.
  • Ms. Sorrow read the The Beeman by Laurie Krebs. Jeffery Sullivan, a real life "beeman" came to talk about the process and tools needed for a bee keeper.
  • Kennesaw State University President, Sam Olens was our guest reader on Visitors Day.
  • Elrod Garden Center and Bee Company donated all the flowers for our Pollinator Garden.

  • Kiwanis Club of Lost Mountain sponsored the 2nd grade fishing trip to White Oak Park in Paulding County on June 13th.
  • We continue our tradition of walking to Certain Strokes to paint a specially themed ceramic work of art. 1st grade painted "Pudgy Owl Banks" and 2nd graders painted "Marty the Butterfly".  Both grades created  Owl Thumbprint pendant necklaces.
